7 best Gaussian Splat hosting options in August 2026

Gaussian Splatting needs more than file storage. You need a way to prepare a model for the browser, control who can open it, and give viewers useful context.
This comparison covers seven current options, from self-hosted viewers to managed cloud platforms. We checked product pages, documentation, pricing, and public viewers in August 2026. Blurry publishes this article and includes direct alternatives because they may better suit your workflow.

Self-hosting
What it is: Self-hosting means you choose the viewer, storage, content delivery network, authentication, and monitoring.
Best for: teams that already operate web infrastructure and need a viewer inside an existing product.
Teams can use Spark, SuperSplat Viewer, mkkellogg's GaussianSplats3D, or antimatter15's splat viewer to build their viewer. GaussianSplats3D is no longer actively developed, so new projects should prefer Spark or SuperSplat Viewer. Teams retain control over access, branding, and delivery, but must handle compression, upgrades, mobile performance, support, and incident response themselves.
Blurry
What it is: Blurry hosts existing Gaussian Splats and prepares them for browser delivery with compression, generated levels of detail, and progressive streaming. It accepts raw PLY and XGRIDS LCC2 uploads, with no maximum upload size.
Best for: professional delivery workflows in inspection, surveying, architecture, engineering, construction, and asset documentation.
Blurry provides share links with optional expiration, embeds, waypoints, custom branding and whitelabelling, and rich annotations. The free plan includes 30 GB, Professional starts at $1 per GB/month, and Enterprise adds custom delivery and region-locked data. It is a managed commercial platform rather than a self-operated stack.
SuperSplat
What it is: SuperSplat is a browser-based editor and publishing platform from PlayCanvas. Its MIT-licensed editor and viewer support Gaussian-level cleanup, cropping, transforms, colour work, animation, and self-hosted exports.
Best for: workflows where editing the splat is central.
The hosted platform accepts PLY, SOG, Streamed SOG, and LCC files, streams models above one million Gaussians, and offers public or unlisted scenes, embeds, and optional downloads. Its hosted service does not offer advanced access controls or controlled data residency.
Splat Labs
What it is: Splat Labs is a managed platform from ROCK Robotic for hosting and working with existing splats. It supports PLY, SPLAT, KSPLAT, LCC, and LCC2, and adds measurements, annotations, portals, AI tools, and AEC integrations.
Best for: workflows that need measurements, construction tools, or Autodesk and ArcGIS integrations.
Splat Labs offers public links on every plan, email-restricted access on Business, and regional storage, roles, and white labelling on Enterprise. The free plan has two active projects and Starter begins at $14/month. Strict file-size and project count limits apply. Splat Labs does not currently reconstruct raw imagery into Gaussian Splatting models.
Teleport by Varjo
What it is: Teleport by Varjo reconstructs Gaussian Splats from images and video, then hosts the resulting capture. It supports cloud processing, an API, custom training parameters, public share links, embeds, tours, portals, and paid PLY or video exports.
Best for: workflows where source imagery, processing, and web delivery need to remain together.
Its pay-as-you-go plan starts at $30, while Enterprise adds dedicated capacity, single sign-on, white labelling, service-level agreements, and on-premise deployment. Teleport is primarily a reconstruction platform, and its standard terms permit use of uploaded content to improve Varjo's reconstruction technology. Enterprise teams should review their agreement carefully.
StorySplat
What it is: StorySplat turns a PLY, SPLAT, or SPZ file into an interactive presentation. It offers waypoints, timelines, hotspots, portals, measurements, audio, 3D models, post-processing, and optional image-to-splat generation.
Best for: guided narratives for education, heritage, real estate, and exhibitions.
StorySplat creates compressed and streamed SOG output, provides shared links and embeds, and its public scenes loaded successfully in our August checks. The free plan includes 1 GB and Plus costs $19/month for 25 GB, private scenes, and commercial use. Teams with strict support, access-control, or data-residency requirements should validate those requirements directly.
Splatter
What it is: Splatter is a focused Gaussian Splat viewer and host. It takes PLY uploads, generates levels of detail, progressively loads scenes, and offers public or unlisted links, HTML embeds, and licensed Three.js or React Three Fiber integration.
Best for: a polished viewer or splats inside a custom web application.
Its free plan includes a branded viewer and non-commercial embeds, while Business includes 100 scenes and viewer integration. Its controls focus on camera setup and appearance rather than annotations, editing, or granular access control.
Upcoming: Dioramix
What it is: Dioramix is an in-development, self-hosted presentation editor rather than a hosted platform. It supports PLY, SPZ, SOG, GLB, GLTF, and OBJ files, then combines camera views, hotspots, images, video, PDF documents, and buttons into slide-based 3D stories.
Best for: narrative presentations and local data handling.
Dioramix exports self-hosted presentations and plans to remain free during beta, with paid publishing or export planned after release. Its open beta has not started yet, and its demos are designed for laptop and desktop screens rather than mobile.
Choose for the work around the model
No platform is the best fit for every Gaussian Splat. Choose self-hosting for control, SuperSplat for editing, Teleport for reconstruction, StorySplat or Dioramix for guided storytelling, Splatter for focused viewing, and Blurry for managed professional workflows.
